Hodeida - Saba:
Al-Hodeida province's Undersecretary for Services Affairs, Mohammed Halisi, inaugurated on Thursday the activities of Al-Zahraa Festival, organized by the Yemeni Women's Union branch in the province.
The festival, in cooperation with the Social Affairs Office and in partnership with civil society organizations in the province, includes a two-day display of food products and various crafts and handicrafts.
Huda Ghaleb, project coordinator at the Yemen Women's Union branch, and Mona Al-Khoulani, legal officer, emphasized the importance of the festival to support the encouragement of skilled hands from productive families, who make high-quality local and national products.
They pointed out that the festival followed a training course recently organized by the branch with the participation of a number of women from civil society organizations.
