Sana'a - Saba:
The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning expects very cold and cold weather in a number of governorates during the next 24 hours.
According to the weather bulletin issued by the center, very cold weather is expected in the governorates of Al-Bayda, Dhamar, Sana'a, Amran, Saada and the highlands of Al-Dhale'e, Lahj, Marib and Al-Jawf with the possibility of frost forming in parts of them.
It also expects cold to very cold weather in the highlands of Ibb, Abyan, Hadramout, Al-Mahra and desert areas, while the weather will be cold in the highlands of Hajjah, Al-Mahwit, Raymah and Taiz.
The center reported that the lowest temperatures recorded in some meteorological monitoring stations this morning were as follows: Dhamar: 0, Al-Bayda: 0, Amran: 1, Sana'a: 2.
It warned citizens in the mountainous highlands, interior plateaus and deserts of cold and very cold weather during the night and early morning hours.
The center advised farmers to take the necessary measures to protect crops from the effects of severe cold, as well as livestock herders, beekeepers and poultry keepers to preserve them.
