Baghdad - Saba:
A joint force from the 16th Brigade and the Special Forces Regiment within the Northern and Eastern Tigris Operations Command, in the Popular Mobilization Forces, in coordination with the Iraqi army, carried out a security operation west of Kirkuk Governorate.
The Popular Mobilization Forces Authority said in a statement carried by the Iraqi "Al-Maalouma" Agency: "The operation included searching areas on the outskirts of Turkalan, reaching the road linking Tikrit and Kirkuk, in order to enhance security and pursue any suspicious movements in the area."
