Amran - Saba:
The head of the General Authority for the Preservation of Historic Cities, Abdulwahab Al-Mahdi, inaugurated on Sunday a project to prepare studies for the restoration of 30 houses in the historic city of Thala'a in Amran province.
The head of the authority explained to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) that the inauguration of the UNESCO-funded project comes by visiting the city and inspecting the houses targeted within the project.
The head of the authority reviewed the civilizational and historical importance of the city. He emphasized the need to preserve these archaeological sites and historical cities.
