The Public Tenders Committee in Sa'ada province, chaired by Governor Mohammed Awad, discussed issues related to the implementation of a number of projects aimed at improving basic services, strengthening infrastructure, the level of work completed in service and development projects in the province.
The meeting, which was attended by the Secretary General of the Provincial Local Council, Mohammed Al-Emad, also discussed the addition of 20% of the value of the contract for the project to equip the physical and institutional infrastructure of the provincial offices approved in the 1445 AH plan.
The meeting reviewed the technical unit's request for additional works for the restoration of Martyr Al-Sammad School in Manbah district, as well as the technical study of the project to build the annex to the doctors' residence "third floor" at Manbah Hospital, according to the study and designs.
The meeting approved the announcement of the September 21 Hall project in the Cultural Center (second phase) according to the studies and designs prepared by the technical unit.
They also reviewed the requests submitted by the President of Sa'ada University regarding the amount approved for furnishing and equipping the laboratories of the University's College of Agriculture with an estimated value of 55 million, 686 thousand and 353 riyals, and approving the additional works for the rehabilitation of the administrative building and laboratories of the University's College of Medicine.
The meeting approved the purchase of a Konch to maintain the internal streets in the province center, and the purchase of a means of transportation for the Works Office to follow up on its equipment.
A committee was assigned from the Health and Environment Office and Talah Hospital to purchase an ELISA device to ensure the safety of blood transfusion and provide laboratory services within the hospital to improve the quality of services provided to citizens.
At the meeting, Sa'ada Governor stressed the importance of the September 21 Hall project - Phase II, urging the speedy announcement of the tender for the project to work on it according to a suitable study and designs for the urgent need of the province after the aggression completely destroyed the hall of the cultural center.
