The activities of the first medical forum in Yemen and the "Yemen Medica" exhibition concluded on Monday in Sana'a.
The forum, which was organized by the first commercial center for medicines, devices and medical equipment "Al-Qasr Mall" in coordination with the Supreme Authority for Medicines, the Medical Council and Sana'a University, discussed scientific working papers on the latest developments and innovations in the field of health and medicine over the course of a week.
The forum, which was attended by doctors, academics, representatives of pharmaceutical companies and manufacturers, associations, unions, medical syndicates, and the Food and Drug Research Foundation, also featured a review of working papers on the activities of Yemeni associations and medical syndicates, including "radiology, emergency medicine, disasters, neonatology, ophthalmology, psychiatry, neurology, orthopedics, anesthesia, restoration and cosmetics, the pharmacists' syndicate and profession, therapeutic nutrition, and diets."
In conclusion, the Vice President of the Drug Authority for Local Industry Affairs, Dr. Abdullah Al-Sharif, and the Chairman of the Preparatory Committee for the Forum, Abdullah Zaid, stated that the medical forum is a model that can be used in managing knowledge and modernity in the health, medical and technical sectors.
They explained that the forum and exhibition aimed to enhance the standards of quality, innovation and integration in health services, focus on the safe circulation of medicines and medical supplies, and highlight the latest technological innovations and medical needs.
They praised all those who participated and contributed to the success of the forum from medical institutions, associations and academics.
