Tulkarm - Saba:
The Deputy Governor of Tulkarm in the northern West Bank, Faisal Salama, said on Tuesday that the Israeli occupation army continues its military operation in the city camp for the 30th day, causing great destruction to homes and infrastructure, and displacing 12,000 Palestinians.
Salama, who also holds the position of head of the Popular Committee of Tulkarm Camp, stated in a press statement that “the Israeli occupation authorities are still occupying Tulkarm camp and besieging it for the 30th consecutive day and displacing its people at gunpoint.”
He added: “These (Israeli) forces are still wreaking havoc in the homes, streets, alleys of the camp and all its facilities.” “The occupation forces paved a road that penetrated the depth of 4 neighborhoods in Tulkarm camp, starting from the Balawneh neighborhood, passing through the Hamam neighborhood and the Sawalma neighborhood, reaching the services neighborhood on Dhnaba Street,” according to Salama.
He explained that this "led to the demolition of 26 buildings, completely burying them and causing severe damage to all surrounding buildings and facilities."
