Barcelona announced the departure of its Brazilian striker, Vitor Roque, after cutting short his loan to Real Betis early.

Barcelona issued an official statement, announcing that it had reached an agreement with Brazilian Palmeiras regarding Roque's transfer to its ranks, without mentioning the details of the deal.

For its part, Palmeiras confirmed its contract with the young striker, via its account on the "X" social networking site.

Palmeiras wrote: "It's your birthday, but the gift is ours.. The new striker has arrived, happy birthday, Roque."

This transfer came in conjunction with Roque's 20th birthday.
Roque had joined Barça in the summer of 2023, but he made his first appearance with the team in January of the following year.
