London - Saba:
Thousands of Britons, Palestinians, Arabs and Muslims participated in a mass demonstration in the protest square in front of Government House in London on Tuesday evening to protest the resumption of the Zionist aggression on the Gaza Strip.
Quds Press reported that the sit-in was called for by the Palestinian Forum in Britain and its partners in the Palestine Support Coalition, which includes the British Palestine Solidarity Campaign, Stop the War Coalition, Stop Nuclear Weapons Coalition, Friends of Al-Aqsa Organization, the Muslim Association of Britain, and the Palestinian Forum.
Adnan Humaidan, Vice President of the Palestinian Forum in Britain, expressed the protesters' dissatisfaction with the British government's retraction of Foreign Secretary David Lammy's statements condemning the blocking of aid to Gaza, despite these statements being timid and without any concrete steps.
Humaidan also reminded British officials, who had previously called for an end to protests when the ceasefire came into effect, that the enemy does not fulfill its promises and does not respect agreements. The latter's breach of the agreement and its return to genocide is the clearest evidence of this.
The sit-in witnessed a heavy security presence, amid protesters' insistence on continuing popular pressure until the British government takes a clear and responsible stance regarding the ongoing crimes in Gaza.
Enemy aircraft launched a large-scale attack on Gaza at dawn on Tuesday, resuming the war of extermination in the Strip. The airstrikes resulted in the deaths of 322 Palestinians, including children, and the injury of more than 440, some of whom are in critical condition.
The enemy army targeted tents for displaced people in the Mawasi area west of Khan Younis, in addition to a school housing displaced people in the Al-Daraj neighborhood in central Gaza City, three homes on Al-Sina'a Street in the Tal al-Hawa neighborhood, and areas in Boraij and the Nossairat refugee camp.
Since October 7, 2023, the enemy, with American support, has been committing genocidal crimes in Gaza, leaving more than 160,000 Palestinians dead and wounded, most of them children and women, in addition to more than 14,000 missing.
