Sana'a - Saba:
The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning has forecast scattered rains across several governorates and rough seas due to strong winds south of the Red Sea and west of the Gulf of Aden over the next 24 hours.
According to the weather bulletin issued by the center, scattered rains, sometimes accompanied by thunder, are expected in parts of the governorates of western Al-Jawf, Sa'ada, Hajjah, Al-Mahwit, Amran, Sana'a, Raymah, and Dhamar.
Active to strong winds are likely to blow south of the Red Sea, the entrance to Bab al-Mandab, and west of the Gulf of Aden, with maximum speeds reaching 28 knots.
The center reported that the amount of rainfall measured at meteorological stations in Ibb over the past 24 hours was 4 mm. Moderate to heavy rains also fell outside the stations in parts of the governorates of Sa'dah, Hajjah, Al-Mahwit, Amran, Sana'a, and Dhamar.
The center warned citizens in areas where rainfall is expected to occur to avoid valleys and flood channels.
It also warned seagoers and fishermen in the southern Red Sea, the Bab al-Mandab Strait, and the western Gulf of Aden of rough seas and high waves.
