The Attorney General, Judge Abdulsalam Al-Houthi, directed the release of 46 insolvent prisoners from various central correctional facilities in the capital and the provinces, after a benefactor paid their obligations to others in the amount of 30 million and 814 thousand riyals.
In a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the Attorney General called on businessmen, wealthy people, charitable organizations and associations to provide assistance to insolvent prisoners, who have completed their sentences and are still in prison due to the private rights of others.
