Sana'a - Saba:
The local authority and general mobilization in the New Sana'a District in Sana'a Governorate organized a cultural awareness party commemorating the martyrdom of Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib, peace be upon him, under the slogan "I have won, by the Lord of the Kaaba."
At the party, held at Al-Salam Mosque in the Imam Ali District, the Director of the District, Abdullah Al-Marouni, highlighted the importance of commemorating the martyrdom of Imam Ali, peace be upon him, which embodies the fruits of jihad for the sake of God and self-sacrifice.
He urged the application of the life of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) to current reality and the pursuit of jihad in the path of God for a life of dignity, honor, and success in the afterlife.
Al-Marouni stated that the only solution for the Islamic nation to emerge from the quagmire of humiliation, degradation, and stagnation is a serious return to the Holy Quran, following the example of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family), and supporting God, His Messenger, and his family, while rejecting all calls for division and discord among the members of the Islamic nation.
Khaled Musa, a member of the Yemeni Scholars Association, urged people to draw closer to God through good deeds and acts of worship, and to seize the remaining days and nights of the holy month by increasing remembrance of God, reciting the Quran, contemplating its meanings, and complying with its commands and prohibitions.
Musa reviewed the lessons and morals of the Battle of Badr, comparing the situation of Muslims before and after the Day of Judgment, and the associated paradoxes between the situation of Yemenis before and after, and the honorable Yemeni stance toward the oppression of the people of Gaza, contrasted with the shameful stance of Arab and Islamic regimes.
Following the event, attended by the Directorate's General Mobilization Officer, Mohammed Al-Tal, a vigil was held to condemn the American aggression and the war of genocide in the Gaza Strip.
Participants in the vigil denounced the horrific Zionist crimes and massacres against the people, children, and women of Gaza, noting that the American aggression against the homeland will not deter the Yemeni people, their leadership, and their armed forces from supporting Gaza by all possible means and methods.
They praised the positions of the resistance and jihad movements rejecting the aggression against Yemen, expressing their deep dissatisfaction with the cowardly positions of Arab regimes and the shameful stance of armed groups in Syria toward the Zionist aggression and repeated attacks on Syrian territory.
