Ithar Charity Social Development Foundation inaugurated the Martyr Al-Samad Eid Clothing Fair and the distribution of food baskets.
The exhibition targets 8,000 boys and girls from poor families, while the distribution of food baskets targets 500 of the most needy families in the neighborhoods of Beit Ma'ad and Bir Obeid in the capital Sana'a.
At the inauguration, which was attended by Ali Al-Saqqaf, Undersecretary of the General Authority for Zakat, and the directors of the Endowments Office in Sana'a, Walid Al-Alawi, Al-Mabarat, Mohammed Al-Faqih, Youssef Al-Alawi, Mosques, Ahmed Al-Khazan Orphan Care Home and social figures. The inauguration speeches emphasized the importance of these charitable projects, which come in implementation of the Revolution Leader's directives and the President of the Supreme Political Council, funded by the Zakat and Endowments Commissions, in strengthening the bonds of love , brotherhood and embodying the values of charity, compassion and social solidarity.
Speeches spoke about the positive impact of the exhibition and food baskets in alleviating the needy families' burdens and providing their needs, as well as bringing joy to the hearts of children, especially during Eid al-Fitr.
They praised the efforts of the Zakat and Endowments Committees and the Ithar Charitable Foundation for their keenness to identify the needs of poor , needy families and work to provide them.
