"Fatah": Settlement is Clear Violation of International Law
"Fatah": Settlement is Clear Violation of International Law
[Sun, 23 Mar 2025 23:09:01 +0300]

Ramallah - Saba:
Abdel Fattah Doula, spokesman for the Fatah movement, confirmed that the Israeli Cabinet's decisions regarding the separation of settlement blocs do not grant settlements any legitimacy,
emphasizing that they constitute a flagrant violation of international law and an assault on the rights of the Palestinian people.

He added that settlements are prohibited under the Geneva Conventions and the UN Charter, and that Security Council Resolution 2334 of 2016 affirmed their illegitimacy.

Doula emphasized that the Palestinian people will not accept the legitimacy of settlements, and that their national rights are non-negotiable.
