The Israeli army announced that one of its soldiers was seriously wounded in a clash with Palestinian resistance forces in the southern Gaza Strip.

According to a translation by the Palestinian Safa News Agency, the Israeli army said that "a soldier from the Golani Brigade was seriously wounded in a battle in the southern Gaza Strip."
