New York - Saba:
The United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) revealed that all essential supplies in Gaza are running out, "which means that babies will go to bed hungry."
In a statement released on Saturday, UNRWA Communications Director Juliette Touma called for immediate action to prevent the worsening humanitarian crisis in Gaza Strip.
She emphasized that after six weeks of Israel's blockade of Gaza Strip, which prevents the entry of aid and commercial supplies, "food stocks are almost gone, bakeries have closed, and hunger is spreading."
Since October 7, 2023, the Zionist enemy forces began an aggression on the Gaza Strip, which resulted in the martyrdom of 50,933 citizens, mostly children and women, and the injury of 116,450 others, in an unfinished toll, as a number of victims are still under the rubble and in the roads, which ambulance and rescue crews cannot reach them.
