Bethlehem / Jenin - Saba:
A Palestinian was injured by Israeli enemy fire during a raid on Beit Fajjar, and the father and brothers of a former prisoner from Burqin were arrested.
A Palestinian child was injured last night by Israeli enemy fire during a raid on the town of Beit Fajjar, south of Bethlehem in the West Bank.
The Palestinian WAFA News Agency reported that Israeli forces stormed the town and positioned themselves in the western and central neighborhoods. They fired live ammunition and sound bombs, wounding a 17-year-old boy with a bullet to the foot. He was taken to a hospital for treatment.
In Jenin, Israeli forces arrested three Palestinian citizens from the family of former prisoner Sultan Khalouf from the town of Burqin, west of Jenin, last night.
Local Palestinian sources said that Israeli forces stormed the town, raided the home of former prisoner Khalouf, and arrested his father and two of his brothers to pressure him to surrender, claiming he was wanted by the occupation.
Israeli forces raided Khalouf's home on Thursday and arrested his wife, Nabila Khalouf, before releasing her Friday morning.
The Israelis have been raiding Khalouf's family home and the Khalouf family office in Burqin for nearly a month, searching for him and arresting members of his family to pressure him to surrender.
