An expanded meeting took place on Sunday in Bajil district in Hodeida province under the chairmanship of province undersecretary Mohammed Halisi to assess the performance of the district's summer centers and their adherence to planned programs. This meeting is part of ongoing initiatives to bolster the educational sector and instill a strong faith-based identity in young people.
The meeting, which included district director Abdul-Moneim al-Rifai, the mobilization officer, Yasser al-Hasani, and several specialists, focused on strategies to broaden community involvement and engagement with the summer courses across the district's various villages and sub-districts.
Halisi underscored the importance of increased official and community participation in these courses, viewing them as vital educational environments for shaping the awareness of future generations. He expressed satisfaction with the growing interest from parents and their enthusiasm to enroll their children in the summer centers.
He highlighted the crucial role of these centers in safeguarding students from "soft power" influences and the risks of cultural invasion, emphasizing that all stakeholders share a responsibility to promote this approach through all available means. District Director Al-Rafai reiterated the need for continued on-the-ground efforts and intensified outreach to ensure the smooth operation of the educational process within the centers.
Al-Rafai affirmed that the Directorate's leadership would work to provide all necessary resources, address any issues promptly, and dedicate all efforts to ensure the success of this significant national project.
He also provided Deputy Governor Halisi and local leaders with an overview of the progress of educational programs at several summer centers within the Directorate, as well as the level of commitment and discipline observed. He also relayed briefings from supervisors and teachers regarding the key activities being implemented.
Halisi commended the enthusiasm displayed by the students and the commendable dedication of those managing the centers, emphasizing that the ongoing efforts reflect a strong sense of responsibility towards the younger generation.
