Israeli occupation forces and settlers stormed the Solomon's Pools tourist area, located between the town of Al-Khader and the village of Artas, south of Bethlehem.
Security sources told the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA) that Israeli forces stormed the Solomon's Pools tourist area through the southern entrance to Al-Khader (Al-Nashash) and deployed throughout the area, allegedly providing protection for the settlers, who had previously announced their intention to storm the area.
Israeli forces also closed the road leading to the Solomon's Pools area and prevented vehicles from passing.
Groups of settlers stormed the Solomon's Pools area through the mountains and via a nearby settlement, under the protection of Israeli forces. They positioned themselves along the three pools and performed Talmudic rituals.
