NEW YORK - SABA: The UN World Food Programme has said that humanitarian operations in the Gaza Strip became more challenging due to increase in Israeli attacks.
The increase in attacks stifles efforts to prevent famine, with half a million people living in catastrophic conditions.
Overcrowding in shelters and increased Israeli "eviction orders" have further exacerbated the situation.
The program has lost its third operational warehouse in the central region, resulting in the loss of five community kitchens and 20 food distribution points.
