Moscow - Saba: The Russian air defenses on Tuesday shot down two US-made MGM-140 ATACMS missiles in the vicinity of Lugansk.
RIA Novosti quoted a security source as saying that the missiles were fired from the direction of Kramatorsk, two kilometers to the northeast of Lugansk City, with no reports on casualties or damages.
The Russian forces made tactical gains in Pokrovsk axis, west Donetsk, where "many towns were liberated in the last few weeks," the source added.
