Tehran - Saba:
Commander of Iran's Revolutionary Guards, General Hossein Salami, said his country will respond with ‘force, firmness and determination’ to any aggression that the Zionist enemy may carry out against Iran in response to its recent missile attacks.
He added that Iran would continue to support the resistance front, especially in Palestine and Lebanon.
Salami's remarks came on Monday in a letter addressed to the commander of the Guards' Air Force, General Amir Ali Hajizadeh, to congratulate him on receiving the Order of Conquest on Sunday from Iran's Supreme Leader, Sayyed Ali Khamenei, for leading last Tuesday's “Sadiq Promise 2” operation against Zionist military and security targets.
Salami said: The operation ‘was successful, effective, bright and triumphant’ in ‘avenging the martyrs of the resistance front and punishing the Zionist entity’.
The operation has made the IRGC more determined and determined to confront Iran's enemies and those who threaten its security and interests, he said.
‘It is a modern turning point in increasing the country's deterrent capabilities,’ he said.
