Mogadishu - Saba: More than 59 members of the terrorist Al-Shabaab movement linked to Al-Qaeda were killed in two military operations in Galgadud and Middle Shabelle provinces in central Somalia.
The Somali News Agency said on Tuesday, that the movement's members were killed during two military operations, the first of which was in the Gerle area in Galgadud province, which resulted in the killing of 32 members of the organization, including leaders, while four soldiers were killed during the implementation of the military operation.
In the second operation, 27 members of the organization were also killed in an airstrike targeting them in the village of Yaqli in Middle Shabelle province.
