Gaza - Saba :
A human rights monitor warned on Monday that more than 400,000 Palestinians are threatened with starvation and thirst in northern Gaza as a result of the Zionist enemy's declared and applied decision to prevent any aid or goods from reaching them for several weeks.
According to the Palestinian Information Center, the Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor said in a statement that the Zionist enemy is threatening 400,000 Palestinians in northern Gaza with starvation, at a time when the enemy forces continue a large-scale attack on the northern Gaza Strip for the tenth consecutive day to empty the area of its inhabitants.
The Observatory said that about 200,000 Palestinians in the northern Gaza governorate have been unable for ten full days to obtain any food or drinking water, as a result of their siege inside their homes or shelters where they resort, at a time when the Zionist army continues to invade the area and commit murders in addition to the widespread destruction of homes and residential buildings.
The Observatory said that those who survived the intensive bombardment were threatened by the Zionist army with starvation and thirst.
The Observatory issued an urgent appeal to the international community, especially the United Nations, to make urgent decisions to oblige the Zionist enemy to bring life-saving aid to northern Gaza and stop the violent genocidal campaign committed by the occupation forces against them.
The Observatory called on the international community to intervene immediately to save hundreds of thousands of residents of northern Gaza, stop the crime of genocide committed by the Zionist enemy forces for the second year in a row, impose a comprehensive arms embargo on them, and hold them accountable and punish them for all their crimes.
