The Russian Ministry of Defense announced on Tuesday that its forces have successfully seized additional strategic areas across multiple fronts in the ongoing special military operation over the past 24 hours.
In its daily update, the ministry reported that Russian tactical warplanes attack drones missile units and artillery engaged enemy personnel and military assets in 129 locations.
The statement detailed that units from the Russian "West" group have secured advantageous positions and targeted Ukrainian forces and equipment in various areas of the Luhansk People's Republic. Four Ukrainian counterattacks were repelled, resulting in significant losses for the enemy, including approximately 300 soldiers, several tanks, two vehicles, and multiple field guns, as well as the destruction of two ammunition depots.
Additionally, the Russian "South" group continued its offensive, penetrating deeper into Ukrainian defenses in the Donetsk People's Republic. The group repelled three counterattacks and inflicted heavy losses on Ukrainian forces, with reports indicating 590 servicemen killed, as well as the loss of an infantry fighting vehicle, four armored vehicles, and various artillery pieces.
Meanwhile, the "Center" group of Russian forces enhanced their position along the front line, targeting Ukrainian manpower and equipment in the Donetsk People's Republic. They successfully repelled two Ukrainian counterattacks, leading to the enemy's losses of up to 500 servicemen, an armored fighting vehicle, and additional artillery equipment.
