The Zionist enemy on Monday at dawn committed a new massacre in which six children and women from one family were martyred in the Al-Nabi Anam neighborhood in Baalbek city, eastern Lebanon.
‘The Israeli enemy committed a massacre against children and women in the Nabi Anam neighborhood in Baalbek city,’ the Lebanese National News Agency said.
The agency added that a ‘hostile’ drone launched a raid on the home of Ali Abdo Othman, ‘in a neighborhood whose houses are close and populated’.
The targeting ‘destroyed the building, damaged neighboring houses, martyred six children and women from the Othman family, and wounded eight civilians in the neighborhood, ranging from critical to moderate and light injuries, who were taken to hospitals’, it said.
Civil defense teams in the area worked to extinguish the fire in the targeted house, assist in rescue operations and recover the bodies of the dead from under the rubble, the agency said.
