Beijing - Saba:
China on Saturday successfully launched a new set of remote sensing satellites from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Centre in northwest China.
Xinhua news agency said: Four satellites (BESAT-2) were launched aboard a Long March-2C carrier rocket and successfully entered the planned orbit. It indicated that the satellites will mainly provide commercial services for remote data sensing.
It is worth mentioning that this is the 544th launch mission of the Long March series of carrier rockets.
