Brazilian football club Sao Paulo announced on Wednesday the return of former Chelsea midfielder Oscar to the team from which his career began with a three-year contract.
Oscar, who made 48 appearances for Brazil between 2011 and 2016, has spent the past eight seasons with Shanghai Port and won the Chinese Super League title three times.
The 33-year-old said, "I am not happy to return to Brazil and Sao Paulo FC, where I started my career."
Oscar scored 38 goals in 203 appearances for Chelsea, winning the Premier League, League Cup, and Europa League during his four-and-a-half years at the club.
Oscar began his professional career in Sao Paulo in 2008 and joined Internacional in 2010.
