The governor of the Russian Tula region, Dmitry Milyaev, announced at dawn on Tuesday that the region was attacked by Ukrainian drones, and according to preliminary data, there were no casualties.
Sputnik quoted Milyaev as saying via his Telegram channel: "The Tula region was attacked by Ukrainian drones, and the air defense systems of the Russian Ministry of Defense are working. According to preliminary information, the air targets were destroyed."
Milyaev added that there were no casualties, and information about the damage is currently being clarified.
Drone shot down
In the same context, the governor of the Russian Voronezh region, Alexander Gusev, announced at dawn on Tuesday that a Ukrainian drone was shot down over the region's territory, without causing casualties or damage.
Sputnik quoted Gusev as saying via his Telegram channel: "The air defense forces on duty and electronic warfare means detected and destroyed a drone in the airspace of Voronezh."
Gusev added that according to preliminary data, there were no casualties or damage on the ground.
Ukrainian forces are targeting Russian border areas in Crimea and the Belgorod, Bryansk, Kursk, Voronezh and Rostov regions with drones and missiles almost daily.
