Gaza - Saba:
The Commission for Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs confirmed intensive efforts are being made to transfer the deported prisoners to Gaza.
The head of the commission, Kaddoura Fares, said in statements to Al-Mayadeen TV: "Many countries have offered to receive the deported prisoners, including Egypt, Qatar, and Turkey."
He added: "We hope to solve the problems and obstacles that prevent the deported prisoners from traveling to Gaza."
Fares continued: "Seeing prisoners liberated against the nose of the occupation gives us a sense of pride and indicates our ability to liberate our land."
The Commission for Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs and the Prisoners' Club said: "183 detainees were released today, including 111 from the Gaza Strip, who were arrested after October 7, 2023."
The Israeli occupation forces turned the area near Ofer Prison into a closed military zone, preventing the gathering of the detainees' families and firing stun grenades at them.
