Dhamar - Saba:
The agriculture sector in Dhamar province began on Sunday forming field schools in a number of agricultural areas in the districts of Jahran, Al-Manar, Anas and Dhamar.
The areas of "Al-Maather" and "Wadi Samar" in Al-Manar district, "Dhi Sahar" in Anas district, "Beit Al-Nahmi" in Jahran district, and "Al-Qaima" in Dhamar district, witnessed awareness and guidance activities for farmers, and the formation of field schools.
The director of the agriculture sector in the province, Dr. Adel Omar, explained that these activities come within the emergency agriculture program for the winter season 1446 AH, and within the framework of the field schools project for grain farmers, which is implemented by the agriculture sector in the province with funding from the executive unit of the Agricultural Projects and Initiatives Financing Management in Dhamar.
The director of the Extension Department in the province's agriculture sector, Engineer Fuad Al-Kouri, discussed the importance of field schools to contribute to the development of the agricultural sector by introducing agricultural practices and crop transactions, from preparing the land for planting to the harvesting process.
