The Ukrainian armed forces have shelled Donetsk territory 10 times during the past 24 hours, and fired 28 shells, the Donetsk People's Authority said at dawn on Wednesday.
Sputnik Agency quoted the Donetsk People's Representation in the Joint Monitoring and Coordination Center as saying, via its channel on the Telegram application: "During the past 24 hours, the representation recorded 10 shelling incidents by Ukrainian armed formations... including 9 on the Gorlovka axis, and one shelling incident on the Makiivka axis."
The statement indicated that the Ukrainian armed forces fired a total of 28 shells.
According to the representative office, information was received about the injury of 6 civilians, including two children born in 2014.
It is noteworthy that the previous day, 12 shelling incidents by Ukrainian armed formations were recorded on the territory of Donetsk.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces, with significant military support from NATO countries, target infrastructure and civilians on an almost daily basis.
Since February 24, 2022, Russian forces have been carrying out their special military operation, which Moscow says is aimed at disarming Ukraine and eliminating threats to Russia's security through it, and protecting civilians in the Donbas region, who have been persecuted by the Kiev regime for 8 years.
