Secretary-General of the Local Council Dr. Ali al-Zaikam in Mahweet province on Wednesday inspected the expansion works of al-Riyadi tourist park in Jabal Mahwit district.
During his visit, Dr. al-Zaikam was briefed on the park's rehabilitation and expansion efforts, which aim to add more service facilities and rest areas to cater to the growing number of visitors to the province.
The province's leadership is keen on developing service and entertainment projects, as well as tourist sites, to boost domestic tourism and generate revenue for the province.
Dr. al-Zaikam highlighted Mahweet's natural beauty and tourist attractions, noting that some popular areas lack essential facilities like gardens, parks, and service facilities.
To address this, the province leadership plans to provide incentives to local and national investors, encouraging them to invest in the province and capitalize on promising opportunities.
