Member of the Supreme Political Council Dr. Abdulaziz Saleh bin Habtoor and Shura Council Speaker Mohammed Hussein Al-Aydarous participated in the death 40th anniversary of Major General Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al-Kabsi, which was held on Wednesday in Sana'a.
At the event, Dr. Bin Habtoor stressed that the country has lost a national figure who had early contributions in serving the community and a remarkable presence in the political and party scenes. He pointed out that the deceased was always close to the people , understood the nature of the social reality and its issues.
When some party leaders were scattered in the capitals of countries that are hostile to Yemen, he preferred to stay in Sana'a and worked seriously , earnestly in the service of his country and in his field of work as head of the Constitutional, Legal and Judicial Committee of the Shura Council," he said.
Dr. bin Habtoor renewed the Supreme Political Council's condolences to the family of the deceased and the entire Al-Kabsi family, who have provided convoys of martyrs in the country's ongoing battle against the US-Saudi Emirati aggression coalition.
For his part, the Shura Speaker emphasized that the country lost with the departure of the militant Muhammad Al-Kabsi, a national leader who served the country at various stations and enriched the national scene with correct visions , honest positions, a statesman who combined wisdom , insight , a model in performing trust , duty with firm faith and deep realization.
Sheikh Abdullah Al-Ghader, Deputy Speaker , said that the deceased left a great legacy of a culture of love , tolerance and many of the principles he believed in and embodied through his sincere positions that made him respected and appreciated by various political, party and societal components.
Secretary General of the General People's Congress Ghazi Ahmed, member of the Political office of Ansar Allah Ali Al-Qahum, and Mohammed Al-Zubairi of the Baath Party and the Joint Meeting stressed that the country lost a first-class unitary and political man who concluded his life of struggle by aligning with his people and his homeland in defending the country, its unity, sovereignty and independence against the coalition of aggression.
The son of the deceased, Marwan Muhammad Al-Kabsi, pointed out that his father devoted his life to defending the causes of the country. He pointed out that the deceased was a man of difficult situations , his efforts served the public interest and a politician who did not compromise on his principles, as well as a man who loved goodness, humanitarian work and reconciliation.
