The Russian Defense Ministry announced that last night, the air defense systems on duty intercepted and destroyed nine Ukrainian drones over the Samara, Voronezh, Oryol, Belgorod and Kursk regions.
"Over the past night, the air defense systems on duty intercepted and destroyed nine Ukrainian drones," the ministry said in a statement, according to Sputnik. "Three of them were over the territory of the Samara region, two over the territory of the Voronezh and Oryol regions, and one over the territory of each of the Belgorod and Kursk regions."
The Ukrainian Armed Forces target the Russian border areas in Crimea and the Belgorod, Bryansk, Kursk and Voronezh regions with drones and missiles almost daily.
In turn, the Russian forces continue to carry out their special military operation, with the aim of disarming Ukraine, eliminating threats to Russia's security through it, and protecting civilians in the Donbas region.
