New York - Saba:
The International Court of Justice will hold public hearings on the 28th of this month regarding Israel's obligations regarding the UN presence in occupied Palestine.
The court stated that 44 countries and four international organizations have expressed their intention to participate in the oral arguments before the court, which is located at the Peace Palace in The Hague, the seat of the court.
Last December, the UN General Assembly requested an advisory opinion from the International Court of Justice on Israel's obligations regarding the presence and activities of the United Nations, other international organizations, and third states in and relating to the occupied Palestinian territories.
