Botafogo Regatas strengthened their lead at the top of the Brazilian football league by beating Vasco Dagama 3-0 in the 32nd round of the competition last night.

The goals were scored by Jefferson, Luiz Henrique and Junior Santos in the 9th, 12th and 71st minutes of the match.

With this victory, Botafogo remained at the top of the Brazilian league with 67 points, while Vasco Dagama's score froze at 43 points in ninth place.

In the other matches of the same round, São Paulo beat Bahia (3-0) and Internacional beat Criciuma (2-0).
