Illinois-Saba:
Hundreds of activists and members of community organizations in the US state of Illinois organized a stand in honor of the martyrs of the Gaza Strip, whose number has exceeded 45,000 since October 7, 2023.
According to the Palestinian "Wafa" Agency, the organizers of the stand, which was organized in the city of Chicago, shed light on the ongoing "genocide" to which the Palestinian people are being subjected in the Gaza Strip.
The activists appealed to the US administration and Congress, in both its houses (Representatives and Senate), to intervene to stop these massacres and end the war immediately to protect the remaining residents of the Strip, especially in the north, which has been besieged by the Zionist enemy forces for nearly two months.
Activists also held another protest in New York's famous Times Square area, demanding a ceasefire and an end to the war in the Strip.
