Today, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Jamal Ahmed Amer, met the new president of the ICRC mission to Yemen, Christine Cipolla, who submitted her credentials in the presence of the former President of the International Mission, Juerg Montani.

At the meeting, Minister Amer welcomed the new head of the ICRC mission, stressing that it will receive support and facilities for it and the international mission.

He expressed his appreciation for the role of the former president of the ICRC mission, wishing him success in his future duties.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates praised the role of the International Committee of the Red Cross in implementing many humanitarian projects, and its important efforts in the field of emergency humanitarian response during the past years.

In turn, the head of the mission of the International Committee of the Red Cross Shippola explained that it will enhance cooperation between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Expatriates and the International Red Circular Committee, and provide the necessary assistance, including facing emergencies.
