The Russian Defense Ministry announced today, Saturday, that its air defense forces destroyed nine Ukrainian drones in the Russian provinces of Bryansk, Belgorod and Saratov.
Sputnik Agency quoted the ministry as saying in a statement: "Last night, the air defense systems on duty intercepted and destroyed nine Ukrainian drones."
The ministry stated that "seven drones were destroyed over the territory of Bryansk province, and one over the territory of each of Belgorod and Saratov provinces."
The statement continued: "The Black Sea Fleet's on-duty forces also destroyed an unmanned boat heading towards Crimea in the northwestern part of the Black Sea."
The Ukrainian armed forces target, on an almost daily basis, the Russian border areas in Crimea and the provinces of Belgorod, Bryansk, Kursk and Voronezh with drones and missiles.
