Sana'a - Saba:
The Ministry of Civil Service and Administrative Development issued a circular regarding job discipline during Ramadan 1446 AH, specifying official working hours and times.
According to the circular, working hours in ministries, public bodies, banks, and institutes will be five hours daily, from 10 am to 3 pm, from Saturday to Wednesday. As for hospitals and health facilities, working hours will be from 9 am to 2 pm. Working hours in hot coastal and desert areas can also be modified after the approval of the ministry.
The ministry explained that units whose nature of work requires changing working hours can submit an official request for approval. It also stressed the submission of periodic reports to the Council of Ministers on the extent of commitment to official working hours, calling on the relevant authorities to circulate the decision and follow up on its implementation, and submit reports on the state of job discipline during the holy month.
