Geneva - Saba:
Ireland warned of the deterioration of conditions in the West Bank due to the ongoing Zionist aggression for more than a month, stressing the need to fully implement the ceasefire agreement in Gaza.
The Irish Minister of State for International Development and Diaspora, Neil Richmond, said in his speech at the high-level segment of the 58th session of the United Nations Human Rights Council in Geneva yesterday, Tuesday, according to the Palestinian News Agency, WAFA: "We must continue to focus on the deteriorating situation in the West Bank."
He added: "The ceasefire agreement must be fully implemented in all its stages."
Richmond added: "Humanitarian aid must also continue to enter the Strip on a large scale, and basic services and a framework for the return of displaced persons inside Gaza must be provided."
He also stressed that "only the two-state solution can bring lasting peace."
